The Morgan Rushworth Heritage

Morgan Rushworth has been supplying quality sheet and plate metalworking machinery throughout the world, since 1872, when production first started at the Rushworth factory, in Sowerby Bridge, Halifax In 1906, the Morgan factory started manufacturing manual machines from their factory in Lye, Stourbridge. The companies Morgan & Rushworth continued to expand rapidly throughout the first half of the 20th century, until 1972, when the two companies merged to form Morgan Rushworth. 1974 saw the opening of a third factory in Wrexham, as Morgan Rushworth continued to go from strength to strength. Morgan Rushworth had by now established itself as a supplier of international repute, with many machines in production in all corners of the globe. 2008 saw the acquisition of Morgan Rushworth by the UK Machinery Group, ensuring that Morgan Rushworth continues to deliver the reliability and quality that is synonymous with Morgan Rushworth.
