Our XL Fibre Laser Cutting Machine is a cost effective model specified throughout with quality components. Motors and drives are from Fuji Electric in Japan and the autofocus cutting head is produced by RayTools. A rigid but lightweight aluminium bridge allows for high acceleration and rapid positioning. 

The laser source is integral to the machine leaving only the chiller and any extraction outside of the machine body, which results in a very compact footprint.

Control and software

The easy to use machine control is from CypCut and allows nesting of parts from DXF files either on the machine control or using the software on an office PC. The software is also capable of 2D CAD drawing and includes a range of parametric shapes which can be modified to size and nested.

Laser source

This model features the market leading IPG laser sources with a range of laser sizes available from 1.5 to 6kW. IPG is headquartered in the USA with manufacturing and support worldwide. The range of laser sources available provides models for low use applications through to production cutting in material up to 25mm mild steel.

Other features

The XL machines feature a rapid mechanical dual shuttle table for easy loading and unloading. Large laser safe windows allow easy viewing of work in progress and CCTV cameras can also be fitted optionally. Models are available in 3 x 1.5m, 4 x 2m and 6 x 2m bed sizes, as well as in the XLT variant including tube cutting functionality.
